BIGGEST GAMBLE OF HIS CAREER? FLOYD MAYWEATHER RISKS HIS 50-0 BOXING RECORD FOR A REMATCH WITH MANNY PACQUIAO. "ANOTHER 9 MILLION DOLLAR PAYDAY ON THE WAY"

Ahead of the big rematch last night between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, news quckly spread of another potential superstar rematch started spreading. According to Mayweather's Instagram account, he is planning on coming out of retirement for another fight (aka big paycheck) against Manny Pacquiao.

 The boxer says:
"I'm coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year," Mayweather said. "Another 9 figure pay day on the way."
As of now, the fight has not been scheduled, nor confirmed, but it is speculated it wil be this December. Saturday's Instagram posting includes a video of Mayweather and Pacquiao talking to each other at a music festival in Tokyo, although it is difficult to hear what the men are saying. In another angle of the interaction, Pacquiao tells Mayweather, "I have the belt," to which Mayweather responds, "I'm going to take it from you like I did before."

According to Forbes,
Mayweather earned roughly $250 million for his Pacquiao fight, which broke every financial boxing record, including 4.6 million PPV buys and more than $600 million in gross revenue across all revenue streams.

Those numbers are enough reason for almost anyone to come out of retirement, even if he makes half of that! However, he is risking the chance of tarnishing his perfect record or upping it to 51-0. The suspense sells the pay-per-view purchases.

Mayweather is currently 50-0
Pacuiao is currently 60-7-2

Are you going to tune into the rematch?
