MEET KAYLA MORRIS! THE FIRST NFL CHEERLEADER TO KNEE DURING ANTHEM

Kayla Morris has been identified as the San Francisco 49ers cheerleader who has went viral for kneeling during the National Anthem at Levi's Stadium against the Oakland Raiders this past Thursday night. 

According to the 49ers website, Morris has been a cheerleader on their "Gold Rush" Cheer Squad for two seasons and works in sales when she is not cheering for the football team. 

A former teammate of Morris's told Daily Mail.com, 

"I think it’s an extremely brave and courageous thing to do... and I think it’s been met with love and respect from both the Gold Rush director as well as the team itself, just based on my past experiences there."

As of now, Morris is the first NFL cheerleader to kneel.
