Reuben Foster Officially Released from the 49ers Following Domestic Violence Arrest

Today, Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers announced they have officially released, Reuben Foster after he was arrested Saturday night at the team hotel in Tampa.

The linebacker was charged with misdemeanor and domestic battery after an alleged altercation with a "28-year old woman he's had an on-again, off-again relationship with" for three years. It was reported Foster slapped a cell phone from a woman's hand and proceeded to hit her in the face hard enough to leave a bruise "on her face and on her collarbone".

Apparently, Foster is no stranger to domestic violence. Over the past ten months, he has had several run-ins with the law and accused of domestic violence. The previous domestic violence charges were eventually dropped last May, but other misdemeanor gun and marijuana charges got him suspended by the NFL for the first two games of this season.
