REGINAE CARTER TO MAKE FEATURE FILM DEBUT IN "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE: ATLANTA"

On VH1's Family Hustle, rapper Dwayne "Lil' Wayne" Carter's daughter, Reginae Carter, told her mom that she wanted to drop out of college to pursue acting.

Although her mother, Toya Wright, assumed her drastic decision was due to rapper boyfriend YFN Lucci, Reginae is determined to prove her mom wrong with upcoming acting role.

Yesterday it was announced the 19-year-old will make her feature film debut in the “Pride and Prejudice” remake.

Lifetime has greenlighted the remake taking it from an English countryside down south to a modern-day Georgia in which the title will slightly change to Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta.

Complex reports the movie plot will surround a baptist  church first family, in which the first lady, a wife, and mother of five daughters, only hope is to cure her five daughters of single status.  Reginae will be playing the "boy-crazy", Lydia.

A release date has yet to been announced but congrats are definitely in order for Reginae.

Pride and Prejudice is based on Jane Austen’s 1813 novel of the same name.
