Ashanti's Sister Accuses Cardi B Of Stealing Her Designs For Fashion Nova Collab

Ashanti's little sister, Shia Douglas, is claiming she worked on a similar design last year that is featured in the Fashion Nova x Cardi B Collection.

The DYMES ONLY designer expressed how some people are quick to take credit for work that belongs to other artists: 

"I peeped people, certain designers I’ve worked with even! try to run with the design and make it their own." 

Douglas uploaded visual content depicting the design of her matching set as well as Cardi's for comparison.

This is not the first time a smaller retailer has accused the company of "stealing" designs, most notably klosetenvy, owned by Jai Nice.
