The Cleveland Browns, 3-6-1, would like to interview former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for their head coaching job, source tells ESPN.

If she is indeed interviewed, she will become the first woman ever to interview for an NFL head coaching job.

Rice is a diehard Browns fan and has spent time with the team. ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentions “it is a long shot but she could bring valued input to the team.”

Adam Schefter reports, “Browns general manager John Dorsey said last week that he was opening to hiring a woman as Cleveland's next head coach…”

Rice is no stranger to sports, she has served as a member  of the CFP Selection committee and recently “chaired a commision on college basketball that recommended major changes to the sport this year, including an end to the one-and-done rule” according to ESPN.
