Regina King won Best Supporting Actress for her role in "If Beale Street Could Talk" at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday night.

It was the promise in her speech that has everyone talking and one of many reasons we have loved King since her "Friday" days.

Excerpt from Entertainment Weekly...
After winning Best Supporting Actress at the #GoldenGlobes for her role in 'If Beale Street Could Talk,' #ReginaKing gave an emotional acceptance speech where she vowed to produce only gender-equal projects in the future. "In the next two years, everything that I produce…. is 50 percent women. I challenge everyone out there who is in a position of power — not just in our industry — in all industries. I challenge you to challenge yourselves and stand with us in solidarity and do the same".
Congratulations Queen!
