Late last week it was reported rap superstar Travis Scott would be joining Maroon 5 for the Superbowl Halftime Show in Atlanta next year, leaving some of the black community upset.

As you know, Kaepernick is still without a job in the NFL. Other acts such as Jay-Z and Rihanna have both turned down this once prestigious offer in support of Kap.

Rumors circulated that Maroon 5 was also interested in getting Cardi B as a featured artist considering her stellar year and Billboard #1 single with the headliner.
Friday December 21 a rep for Grammy-Nominated Cardi B denounced rumors and insisted the femcee will not be performing because of her support for Kap.
The rumor circulating that she wants a million dollars and she wants her own set is false,” the rep said. “There was never a firm offer to begin with for a performance. There [were] talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement . . . But again, there was never a solid offer for her to say yes or no to regarding the Super Bowl. She is already confirmed to do a set with Bruno Mars that weekend.
Although Bardi is skipping out on the halftime performance, she will be performing at other Superbowl weekend festivities.
