Jennifer Lopez is Reportedly Being Sued for Posting a Photo of Herself on Instagram

Jennifer Lopez has joined the list of celebrities who are being sued for posting photos of themselves on Instagram that they allegedly don’t own. 

The Blast obtained court documents identifying a photographer named Michael Stewart that says he took a photo of J. Lo walking through NYC and licensed it to Daily Mail in June for an article.

Stewart goes on to say that he “registered it with the United States Copyright Office” and Lopez went on to use it on her Instagram without his permission.

He is allegedly suing Lopez and her production company for copyright infringement.

Lopez is just the latest in an increasing number of celebrities being sued for the same thing. Odell Beckham Jr., Jessica Simpson, Blac Chyna and others have also been involved in legal battles over this issue.
